Youth
Council
The WIB’s Youth Council operates as a workforce board
focusing on the unique needs of Ramsey County’s youth.
Responsibilities of the Youth Council include:
-
The Youth Council develops the
strategic direction of the programs available to youth in Ramsey
County. Requests for Proposals are developed to identify community
service providers that can best serve Ramsey County's youth.

In addition to selecting service
providers, the council also oversees the performance outcomes
for the youth programs.

Special Projects-
the Youth Council is currently advocating for sustainable
funding for Building Lives, a program that helps adjudicated youth move to self-sufficiency and
employment.
