The WIB's 2010 Meeting Calendar
has been published- view it

The WIB's Market Driven Workforce
System (Workforce) Committee and Communication, Advocacy and
Oversight Committee have voted to merge into one new committee.
The full Ramsey County WIB took action on this merger at their
December 3rd, 2009 board meeting.
- The Governor’s Workforce Development Council awarded the
Ramsey County WIB, in partnership with Saint Paul College and
Saint Paul Adult Basic Education, with a $25,000 Collaborative
Local Projects grant for the WIB’s Healthcare Initiative.
- An appropriation for Building Lives was signed into law
within the Economic Development Omnibus bill on May 15. The
bill dedicates $100,000 each year for two years. This funding
will help serve additional youth in this highly effective
program. The WIB would like to thank all who attended meetings,
met with legislators, wrote letters, made phone calls and
provided input.
- The Ramsey County Workforce Investment Board's
2009 Local Plan is available for review below.
